How To Obtain A Complimentary Hope Pack...

Please let me tell you a part of my story...

It was only a few months ago that my precious wife and I went through one of the most difficult periods of our married life.

It was the Easter weekend and we had the privilege of staying at a shack that my wife's parents own near the sea on the east coast of Tassie. As usual we were having a great time together as a family with four boisterous children and a fifth, our wonderful new arrival to be, was in mummy's tummy.

Lis (my wife) began to spot bleed and although it was concerning we didn't panic as she had a similar experience with our first. That night we prayed for the welfare of our child and I was comforted as I felt the baby move energetically in the womb, almost as if joyfully responding to my voice.

The next day unfolded in tragedy as Lis began experiencing great pain and as I rushed her to the hospital she went into a feverish labour. At the hospital we held the tiny little body of our son we called Asher. He had only been seventeen weeks in the womb.

As I stroked his little head I felt enormous loss as I wouldn't get to see him grow up, to hold him, or comfort him through the trials he would face in life. I wouldn't get to see him play with his siblings or graze his knee or take his first steps. I wouldn't know the sound of his voice or get to hear him call out 'Daddy' like my other children do. It was like someone had dropped a bomb on me and shattered my soul.

As the next days unfolded all I could do was to thank God for the family that I had, even in the midst of feeling extremely empty. When we sat at the table to eat as a family I couldn't help but feeling that we were missing something - I struggled to let my expectations for the future go.

In the place of deep brokeness I found great strength and comfort. I knew that I would indeed see my son again and it would not be that far away. There was and is an anchor of strength in my life that is a pure love gift from heaven and I have determined to pass that gift on as best as I possibly can. If you have suffered the loss of an unborn baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or especially abortion... Please let me send a love gift of hope to you. There is hope, strength to go on, and forgiveness where you feel that you may have failed. There is a chance for full restoration and a morning of joy for a shadowed soul.

This is the reason for the 'Hope for Women' advertising campaign on TV, the website and the 'Hope Packs' that we can send you free of charge if you live in Tasmania. If you feel that you would benefit from one of these packs then please fill in the form below and to help us tailor the pack just for you. Please tell us what you are able to of your story. All the information given will be held confidentially and only used to get the right gift to the right place.

Warmest regards,

Matiu

(If any of you would like to email my wife Lis to share your journey with she would be happy to write back, you can email her.)
